DFW, Love Field Airport see hundreds of flight cancelations Friday

DallasFlights to and from Dallas Love Field Airport and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport are still being impacted by the winter storm that passed through North Texas on Thursday.

The airports have canceled hundreds of aircraft coming in and going out.

DFW, Love Field Airport Cancelations

Based on the figures:

Flight tracking website Flight Aware reports that DFW and Love Field are among the airports with the highest number of cancellations nationwide on Friday.

As of 12:15 p.m., Flight Aware provided the numbers below.

DFW Airport


  • Canceled flights to DFW: 252

  • Delayed flights to DFW: 182

  • Canceled flights at DFW: 247

  • Delayed flights at DFW: 174

Dallas Love Field


  • Canceled flights to DAL: 42

  • Delayed flights to DAL: 24

  • Canceled flights at DAL: 54

  • Delayed flights at DAL: 22

As winter weather moves in, the airports with the most canceled flights are Atlanta and Charlotte.
