Main Street Fire in Fort Worth
Fort Worth—What we know: Early on Monday morning, a fire that destroyed a row of businesses along Main Street in Fort Worth is being investigated by fire crews.
Just before 2:30 a.m., Fort Worth police reported seeing a lot of smoke coming from a row of buildings in the 700 block of North Main Street. Thick smoke pushed officers out of one of the buildings after they had gone inside to look for anyone.
Firefighters battled the fire from outside after discovering that the building was unstable.
A male with smoke inhalation was discovered outside the premises. He was brought to a nearby hospital and is anticipated to make a full recovery.
Although first responders stayed on the scene for several hours, the fire was put out just before four in the morning.
The majority of the destroyed buildings, according to the police, were empty, but one was the old workplace of Chef Tim Love.
