DENTON, Texas:On Wednesday night, a fire at a Denton home claimed one life.
What We Know: A house in the 2000 block of Houston Place was the scene of the fire shortly before 11 p.m.
By the time firefighters arrived, the house was completely engulfed in flames, according to the Denton Fire Department.
Two trapped individuals were dragged out of the fire.
To a burn unit, one person was airlifted. At a nearby hospital, the second victim passed away.
