On Thursday, a trailer for “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys” was released.
It is referred to by Netflix as the authoritative account of the team’s owner and his influence on NFL history.
“The documentary follows Jones’ bold business decisions over a ten-plus-year period that transformed international sports and produced three NFL championships. According to an item on the streaming service’s website, “This series unravels the dramatic twists and turns on the road to the Cowboys becoming a football dynasty through first-hand interviews and never-before-seen footage.”
Jones and legendary Dallas Cowboys players are interviewed in the 30-second teaser.
Jones states, “It’s bigger than winning football games,” in the video. “It s a soap opera 365 days a year.”
