According to the police, a car struck a residence east of Holiday Lane, just off the I-820 eastbound access road, just before 11 a.m.

Both the driver of the car and a resident inside the house were sent to a nearby hospital with severe injuries. Both are anticipated to live.

According to the early inquiry, the accident might have been triggered by a medical episode.
