Around 1 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, police were called to a crash in the 300 block of N. Watson Road close to Division Street that resulted in pedestrians being struck.
Officers discovered a woman inside one of the vehicles involved in the collision and two individuals lying in the street after being struck by a car.

According to investigators, a 42-year-old lady was driving along N. Watson Road when she lost control of her 2016 Hyundai Veloster and went off the road. At the site, she summoned family members for assistance.
The 31-year-old Tyler White pulled over in the far-right lane after turning on his hazard lights in his 2004 GMC SUV. He got out of his car to help the woman.
A speeding BMW X1 struck White and the woman as they were removing a cable from White’s SUV.
White and the woman were discovered laying in the roadway by first responders. After being taken to a nearby hospital, White passed away. The woman’s health is still critical.
The 34-year-old woman who was driving the BMW was also taken out of her car by officials. She is in critical condition after being transported to a local hospital.
Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
