Police identify man found shot in vehicle behind supermarket in Far North Dallas

DALLAS—A deadly shooting occurred behind a store in Far North Dallas on Saturday night, and Dallas police are looking into the incident.

Police were summoned to the El Rancho Supermercado on Coit Road just after ten o’clock at night. Behind the company, investigators discovered that Kevin Flores-Gandra, 27, had been shot inside a pickup.

According to the police, authorities started CPR after removing Flores-Gandra. He was brought to a hospital, where he passed away soon after.

Flores-Gandra and another man appear to have been fighting prior to the shooting, according to officials. The suspect has not been taken into custody after leaving the area.

The victim’s identify has not been made public. The probe is still going on.
