Brother detained after man dies in East Fort Worth shooting: police

Fort Worth, Texas—Aurdie Evans, 40, was shot and died on Saturday night in East Fort Worth. The shooting is being looked into by the police.

Just after 7 p.m., police were summoned to the 1400 block of Arbor Ridge Dr., which is east of I-820 and south of I-30.

Officers discovered Evans deceased inside the house when they got there. The shooter was apprehended at the spot after investigators located him. He was identified by investigators as the victim’s sibling.

Although no one has been arrested as of Sunday morning, police believe the brothers got into an argument before to the shooting.

The inquiry into this homicide is still underway.
