Just before two in the morning on Sunday, police were alerted to the crash scene on the southbound South Freeway, close to Rosedale Street.
After being transported to the hospital, 32-year-old Marisol Tinoco-Carillo was declared deceased.
A driver involved in the collision was taken into custody by police.
The charge against 20-year-old Jose Aviles was intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are being looked at by Fort Worth Police.
