DallasThe man who is suspected of stabbing another man inside a Dallas Target on Black Friday has been identified in an arrest affidavit.
According to Robert Weldon Fields’ arrest warrant, 43, police were summoned to the South Haskell Avenue store shortly before 11:30 a.m. to report a stabbing in the men’s restroom.
At 10:34 a.m., Fields can be seen entering the restroom on surveillance footage. He remained there until he hurried out of the restroom at 11:19 a.m.
Angel Ricardo Perez Luna was shopping for their 8-month-old son when he went to the restroom and was stabbed in the neck, according to Nicole Hernandez, the victim’s spouse.
“He FaceTimed me while he was there, like showing me the gifts and stuff,” Hernandez stated.

He told authorities that after being stabbed, he attempted to flee after the perpetrator but collapsed outside the restroom.
Hernandez stated that while the family is trying to raise funds for his medical bills, they are primarily requesting prayers.
After two surgeries, Angel Luna survived being stabbed in the neck. He’s still in the hospital.
Hernandez remarked, “He’s scared,” He’s simply afraid, you know, and he can’t sleep at night. He rarely sleeps throughout the day, although occasionally he does.
Ten minutes prior to the crime, a second witness reported to police that he heard the suspect declare, “Today, I am going to commit a crime,” as he was leaving the restroom. The suspect used to stand at the street corner begging for money, according to the witness, who claimed to have seen him before. The suspect was urged to “chill out” before he left the restroom, he claimed.
