A criminal complaint obtained by FOX 4 claims that a man who was confronted by police in White Settlement intended to assault a nearby church.
A neighbor in his White Settlement neighborhood reported a suspicious white van last week.
When police arrived, they discovered an armed man experiencing a mental breakdown. They removed him, placed him under arrest, and sent him to a hospital for assessment.
Investigators discovered firearms, body armor, and homemade explosive devices inside the van.
