Ennis boil water notice continues; Ennis ISD classes canceled Wednesday

ENNIS, Texas—Due to a boil water advisory in the city, Ennis ISD is once again canceling classes.

According to the city’s most recent public report, which was released Tuesday night, lab results indicated the water was safe. But the water pressure fell below what was considered safe.

Another sample will need to be sent by the city for analysis.

Following a water main break and several leaks, the city’s water supply was restored Monday afternoon.

Since Sunday, residents have been under an aboil water notice.
