Texas’s SunnyvaleIntoxication manslaughter charges have been brought against an AKaufman Countyman in relation to a fatal crash that occurred in Sunnyvale over the weekend.
The collision occurred on US-80, close to Lawson Road, early on Sunday morning.
Edgar Cortez, 22, struck a Dodge Challenger while traveling west in the eastbound lanes of US-80, according to the police.

The crash claimed the life of 34-year-old Jonathan D. Washington.
After being taken into custody, Cortez was accused of driving under the influence and drunken manslaughter.
He’s in the Mesquite city jail right now.
