On November 24, just after 10 p.m., a shooting broke out in Fort Worth in the 1200 block of East Davis Avenue.
Caspian Swinney, 26, reportedly called 911 to tell that he had shot a man outside his house and was sheltering inside with his father, according to the police.

Swinney said police he shot his unarmed neighbor after the man struck him in the face and threatened him, according to an arrest document.
Oscar Lopez, a 26-year-old father of two small children, was named as the victim.
Lopez’s wife and kids were home when he was killed, according to the police.
After a few minutes, officers discovered Lopez laying in a driveway, having been shot several times. At the scene, he was declared dead.
Swinney was arrested and accused of killing someone. He is still being held at the Tarrant County Jail on a $250,000 bail.
