Suspect identified in fatal Sunday morning West Oak Cliff shooting

DALLAS—A suspect in the deadly shooting that took place in the West Oak Cliff neighborhood early on Sunday morning has been identified by Dallas Police.

The incident took place in the 3800 block of Dawes Dr. at approximately 12:30 a.m.

Officers discovered a man had been shot when they got there. He passed away right there.

Pedro Vazquez, 43, the suspect, was taken into custody and is accused of murder.

The victim’s name is still under wraps.
