On Thursday, it occurred on Northeast Loop 820 at approximately 2:15 a.m.
According to North Richland Hills police, a 45-year-old man struck a 21-year-old woman head-on while driving in the incorrect direction on the eastbound toll lanes.
The impact killed the woman.
The individual was very ill when he was brought to the hospital.
If the motorist had a medical issue or was intoxicated, the police did not disclose anything.
Police are investigating the collision before deciding whether to press criminal charges.
After family members have been informed, the woman’s name will be made public.
