According to the detective, they don’t have any surveillance footage from the apartment building. They did manage to capture footage of a person of interest in the neighborhood around the time of the shooting, though.

“Just prior to the shooting, this man was making his way to the scene of the crime. And the fact that he is covering his face in this video is what really catches our attention. According to some of our witnesses, our shooter had his face covered. Johnson remarked, “This man is seen on camera walking toward the scene of the shooting while hiding his face.” “We must speak with him because of this. Without a doubt, we must identify him so that we can either rule him in or out and determine whether he is involved in anything.

In order to solve Reed’s murder, Det. Johnson hopes that someone will identify the man.

“We don’t know if he’s Nook or Lee, and that’s something we’re trying to get to the bottom of,” he stated. “So if this is you, and you think this is some kind of misunderstanding, reach out to me.”
