Texas’s GranburyJust before 10 a.m. on Monday, three young people who had escaped from the Lake Granbury Youth Services facility on Sunday night were apprehended approximately 80 miles away.

According to Texas Department of Public Safety troopers, 15-year-old Asheton Marshall, 16-year-old Isaiah Lauderdale, and 16-year-old Kamiron McDole broke out of the detention center and attacked two guards.

Following their escape, they committed an armed robbery at a Dublin, Texas, gas station and took a car and multiple firearms.

Following the robbery, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Department of Criminal Justice, the Dublin and Granbury police departments, and the Erath County Sheriff’s Office launched a manhunt for the three.

The three young people stole a second car during the hunt and took it to Lancaster, Texas. When Lancaster police spotted the stolen car, they attempted to stop it. The suspects abandoned the car after driving to Hutchins, Texas.

The suspects were located by law authorities during a search in the Dallas area.

The three were located at a Hutchins apartment complex, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reported. They searched the apartment building.

All three are being held by the police after being detained.

Kamiron McDole, 16, was detained at the juvenile detention facility on suspicion of murder, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

Due to a probation breach and a guns charge, 16-year-old Isaiah Lauderdale was placed under confinement.

For avoiding arrest and custody, 15-year-old Asheton Marshall was placed in confinement.
